Agreement

By using ToolDesk (tooldesk.cc, "the site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. The site is operated by the ToolDesk team, reachable at contact@tooldesk.cc.

The service

ToolDesk provides free, browser-based utilities for working with images, PDFs and other data. All processing happens locally on your device; your files are not uploaded to our servers. The tools are provided free of charge and no account is required.

Your files and your responsibility

Because your files never leave your device, you remain in full control of — and fully responsible for — the content you process. You agree to use the tools only with content you have the right to use, and to keep your own backups: always verify the output of a tool before deleting an original file.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. In particular, you will not attempt to disrupt or overload the site, scrape it at abusive volume, use it to break any applicable law, or attempt to interfere with other visitors' use of it.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to make the tools accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee that any tool will be error-free, that output files will be fit for a particular purpose, or that the site will be available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolDesk and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, files or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code are the property of ToolDesk unless otherwise noted. The tools rely on open-source libraries, which remain under their respective licenses. You keep all rights to the files you process — we never claim any ownership of your content.

Advertising and third-party links

The site may display advertising in the future and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising and data.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "last updated" date revised accordingly. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
