Your IP is read from Cloudflare's trace endpoint on this same domain — the host every page load here already talks to. No third-party service is contacted and nothing is stored.

About this tool

Setting up a game server, whitelisting your office on a firewall, checking whether the VPN actually connected — sooner or later you need to know what your IP address is. This page shows your public IPv4 or IPv6 address the moment it loads, along with the country your address is registered to, the Cloudflare data center that answered the request, and the HTTP and TLS versions your browser negotiated. One click copies the address to your clipboard.

Most IP checkers quietly forward your visit to a third-party geolocation API. This one doesn't: the address comes from a diagnostic endpoint on our own domain, so the only server involved is the one that already delivered this page. Everything else — user agent, platform, languages, time zone, screen size and pixel ratio — is read directly from your browser and never transmitted. Nothing is logged, nothing is stored, and there are no accounts or trackers. It works just as well for spotting a VPN leak as for a quick "which address do I give support?" check.

How to find your IP address

  1. Open this page — your public IP is detected automatically within a second.
  2. Click Copy IP to put the address on your clipboard for support tickets, firewall rules or server configs.
  3. Scroll down for connection details and your browser's own information; press Refresh after switching networks or VPNs.

Frequently asked questions

Is my IP address stored or shared when I use this page?

No. The address is read from a diagnostic endpoint on this same domain, provided by the host that already serves every page you load here, and it is only displayed in your browser. We do not log it, we do not send it to any IP-lookup API, and nothing is saved when you leave.

Why is this IP different from the 192.168.x.x address on my computer?

Addresses starting with 192.168, 10. or 172.16–31 are private addresses handed out by your router on your local network. The address shown here is your public IP — the one your internet provider assigns to your connection and that websites actually see. All devices behind the same router usually share one public IP.

Why does the country or data center look wrong?

The country comes from your provider's IP registration, not GPS, so it can lag behind when an ISP reassigns address blocks, and a VPN or corporate network will show the exit location instead of where you are. The data center code is simply the nearest edge location that handled your request, which can be in a neighbouring city or country.

What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6?

IPv4 addresses look like 203.0.113.42 and there are only about four billion of them, so they are shared and reused. IPv6 addresses are longer hexadecimal strings separated by colons and there are effectively unlimited of them. If your connection supports both, your browser prefers IPv6, which is why this page may show a long address while other tools show a short one.

Does a VPN or proxy change what this page shows?

Yes. With a VPN active, websites see the VPN server's address and country rather than your own, and this page will show exactly that — which makes it a quick way to confirm your VPN is actually connected. Browser details such as time zone and language still come from your device, so they may not match the VPN location.
