About this tool
Caps Lock left on for a paragraph, a headline that needs Title Case, a list of labels to turn into snake_case variable names — retyping is the slow way. This free case converter switches any text between eight capitalization styles with one click: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case and kebab-case.
Conversion runs entirely in your browser, so it's instant even for long documents and your text never touches a server.
How to convert text case
- Paste or type your text into the box.
- Click the style you want — the text converts in place, so you can chain styles.
- Press Copy result and paste it wherever you need it.
Frequently asked questions
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Conversion happens instantly in your browser — nothing is transmitted to any server, so drafts, code and private notes stay on your device.
What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case Capitalizes The First Letter Of Every Word, the style used for headlines and book titles. Sentence case only capitalizes the first letter of each sentence, the way normal prose is written.
What are camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case for?
They are programming naming styles: camelCase joins words with capitals (myVariableName), snake_case joins them with underscores (my_variable_name) and kebab-case with hyphens (my-variable-name), common in URLs and CSS. The converter splits your text into words and rejoins them in the chosen style.
Does it handle accents and other languages?
Yes — conversion uses the browser's built-in Unicode rules, so accented and non-Latin characters that have upper and lower forms convert correctly.
Can I convert a whole document?
Yes, there is no length limit — paste as much text as you like, click a style, then copy the result back out.
