Frequently asked questions

Does resizing keep the aspect ratio?

Yes — the By width, By height and Percentage modes always preserve the original proportions. Only the Exact size mode stretches the image to the dimensions you type, which can distort it.

Can I make an image bigger?

Yes, you can enter dimensions or a percentage larger than the original. Keep in mind that enlarging cannot invent detail — upscaled photos look progressively softer the further you push them.

Can I resize many images at once?

Yes. Drop in any number of images and each one is resized with the same settings — ideal for preparing a whole photo set for a website or listing. Then use Download all to save them together.

Which output format should I choose?

Same as original is the safe default. Choose JPG or WebP to also shrink the file size while resizing, or PNG when you need lossless quality or transparency.
